Here, you will find all the necessary information on making a cession - which means transferring a contract from one member to another.

How to make Contract cession in PGM?
- Go to the PGM -> Clients -> Clients -> Club Members.
- From the list, select the Member whose contract you want to transfer and open their Profile.
- Go to the Contracts tab on the right
- Click on the More button.
- Select Cession from the menu.
- Type the member's Name or Number in the search box. This is the Member to whom you want to transfer the Contract.
- You can decide on changing the Sign up date and Start date of the transferred Contract. Select the appropriate date from the calendar. By default, the system will display the current date in both fields. Sign up date can't be greater than the Contract Start date by default unless the system will be configured in another way.
- Click on the Make a cession button.
Mind that the End date of the Contract will be changed automatically!
Cession cannot be made if the Contract was signed or starts today or in future.
Hints
Remember: 1/ The account to which you want to make a cession must have the required payment method for a payment plan.

If the member to whom you need to make a cession has a default payment method (paid at the reception) and the contract requires payment by credit card or direct debit, you should add the required payment source to their profile before making a cession to avoid errors during the cession or future payments. 2/ Cession transfer only contract with commitment without payment information.
- You are able to transfer payment by the below option but If you use this option Member A will have debt. It means that after transfer payment Member A will be an active member with debt.
- Do not transfer payment from Member A but on Member B add "manual contract transaction" to delete debt
3/ During cession, the system will not recalculate the contract, even if the member does a cession after a month of signing the contract. The value will be the same on the date of the assignment agreement. We transfer the full commitment from member A to member B. 4/ To see the information about all the changes made to this Contract, including Contract cession, go to the Data tab and click on the Changes tab. Here, you will also see the new End date change.
Troubleshooting
If the cancellation date is earlier than the SignUp date, an error will appear that you can't transfer the subscription between the members. In order to fix it on your own, you have to follow these steps:
1. Open PGM > Clients > Club members
2. Choose the desired member
3. On their profile > Contracts Tab
4. On the right of the contract find three dots "More"
5. Choose "Rollback cancellation" (It will be only seen at the top of the list if the contract has an end date!)
6. A window will pop up asking if you are sure, click yes.

7. You are done, you can transfer the subscription without an error!
