Introduction

Widgets enable capturing ‘at a glance’ the snapshots of various club performance metrics. Based on system permissions setup, it is possible to provide access to widgets to particular system roles, i.e. to the Accounting and Finance Department. This article shows how the dashboard widgets may enhance their performance. 

Feature description

These widgets present finance and payments statistics: 

1. Payments by source widget - shows aggregated payments from a given period from these payment sources including manual transactions:

  • Online Gate
  • E-Payment CC
  • E-Payment DD
  • POS: Cash
  • POS: Credit Card
  • POS: Money Transfer
  • POS: Prepaid
  • Other

2. Direct Debit efficiency widget - Shows a month-to-date summary of recurring direct debit transactions and compares them against the same time period in the previous month.

  • Efficiency = Successful / All. 
  • Percentage values underneath the big numbers are comparisons to previous month (month to date)

3. Credit card efficiency widget - Shows a month-to-date summary of recurring credit card transactions and compares them against the same time period in the previous month.

  • Percentage values underneath the big numbers are comparisons to previous month (month to date)

4. Debtors by status widget - shows all members in debt grouped by the status of the "Current" contract. 

Debtors who have an "e-payment in progress" are excluded.

5. Debtors widget - shows all members in debt grouped by the time period of their debt.

Debtors who have an "e-payment in progress" are excluded.

6. Revenue MTD widget - shows the day-to-day comparison of the month's results between last month (first column) and the current month (second column).

Columns represent the following three components:

  • PT - all non-manual Personal Trainings sold (doesn't matter if done),
  • Contract transactions - all non-manual contract transactions,
  • Front Desk - all non-manual POS transactions excluding PT's.

7. Revenue history widget - shows the comparison of the given month's results.

Columns represent the sum of the following three components:

  • PT - all non-manual Personal Trainings sold (doesn't matter if done),
  • Contract transactions - all non-manual contract transactions,
  • Front Desk - all non-manual POS transactions excluding PT's.

8. Total revenue widget - shows all non-manual transactions divided into the following categories:

  • Memberships
  • Joining Fees (including Admin fees)
  • Prorata
  • Products
  • Services
  • Personal Training
  • Others

Bundles are treated as follows:

  • Bundles with just products in them are counted as 'Products’.
  • Bundles with just services are 'Services’.
  • Bundles with both products and services are 'Others'

9. Average membership fee widget - shows the average membership contracts grouped by payment interval (discounts are included). 

  • Average - includes all Current and Frozen contracts.
  • Average this month - includes contracts of all statuses with signup date this month (from first to last day of the month). 
  • Triangle sign represents the trend between all contracts and this month.

Free contracts are excluded.
