Introduction
This article includes the list and configuration instructions of the club card readers other than those included in the BarcodeComReader section. All other membership card readers that are not keyboard readers are configured in this section.
Available parameters change depending on the selected reader.
Here you will find instructions to set up the following card reader models:
- GAT Writer 6000F and GAT Writer 5250B - Gantner USB readers
- Unicard reader - card readers that emulate a COM port connection, this setting supports many models and manufacturers - not just a Unicard reader.
- AccessServerCardReader - a network reader that works as a POS reader (requires configuration via the Perfect Gym Support Team)
- NfcReader - ACS card readers
- GAT net writer 7000 card reader - Gantner network reader for reception desks
- Suprema BioMini Plus - this is a fingerprint scanner. It obtains an image of a person's fingerprint and matches it with a club member's profile. In case your club uses this kind of access control devices, HERE you will find instruction on how to install it and set it up
Instruction
GAT Writer 6000F and GAT Writer 5250B
Before configuring the device in PosWeb, it is required to install additional software from Gantner (GAT Direct Connect). You can download it here: GAT Direct Connect. You have to be a registered and logged in user or you can contact the Perfect Gym Support Team to receive a file.
- Install the software with the "Complete" option. In the event of any problems with the reader after its configuration in POSweb, make sure that the GAT Direct Connect service (Windows services) works.
Below are only those settings in PosWeb that need customization.
- GAT.DirectConnect use as default - select.
- GAT silent mode - check if you want to turn off the sound of the reader.
- isGantnerMifareOnlineSystem - if you use the Gantner offline locker system (battery locks), uncheck this option.
- CARD reader FID - if you use the Gantner online locker system, you have to fill in the address of the computer (server) where the GAT Relaxx cabinet control service works. The port is 8207. Sample address: 172.24.21.20:8207. If you don't use this system, leave the field unchanged.
- Below con can see the configuration for testing.
Unicard reader
Most card readers operate in COM port emulation mode.
The parameters you should pay attention to are listed below:
- UnicardAvailable - select.
- UnicardBaudRate - data transmission speed. Change if necessary. In the example below you will see 19 200.
- UnicardPortNumber - the card reader port from the device manager.
- UnicardMode - data read mode. Specifies in what format the card number is sent from the reader to the computer:
- Text - a string with no text end marker.
- TextWithEOL - string with the text end tag (most used)
- Binary - a string of characters in binary format.
- BinaryReversed - a string of characters in binary format (characters in reverse order)
- Soyal - do not use it.
- HexWithEOL - string in hexadecimal system with the end-of-text marker (the second most used).
- HexWithEOLReversed - string in hexadecimal system with end of text mark (characters in reverse order).
- UnicardLength - number of characters transmitted by the reader (if there is no end marker), default set to 14.
- UnicardLengthDecoded - target length of the card number after transfer to POSweb, default set to 14.
Example: the reader sends the number 123456 and we want to save the numbers in the format 000123456 in PosWeb. The UnicardLength parameter will take the value 6, and the UnicardLengthDecoded parameter will be set to 10.
POSweb configuration example
If after scanning a new card you receive following result, make sure that the external switch placed ona scanner is switched the other way.

NfcReader
An option for setting ACS readers. Available options depend on the model.
NfcReaderName - select the appropriate device model. It is possible that there are more models. If the reader is compatible, it will be detected automatically even if this parameter is incorrectly completed.
- ACS ACR1252 Dual Reader PICC 0
- ACS ACR1252 1S CL Reader PICC 0
- ACS ACR1251 1S CL Reader PICC 0
- ACS ACR1281 1S Dual Reader PICC 0
- ACS ACR122U PICC Interface 0
- NfcCardNumberFormat
- Hex - reading the card number in hexadecimal system
- Decimal - reading the card number in the decimal system
POSweb configuration example
AccessServerCardReader
Use of a reader connected to Access Server (network device) as a membership card reader integrated with a specific POS position.
- Set up the AccessServer configuration (SettingsSectionAccessServer).
The most important entries are:
- signalRAddress = "http: // *: 5559" at the beginning of the section of the <accessServer> section as one of the parameters
- invokeReaderGroup = "guid_computer" as a parameter of one of the devices. The computer's guid is the key stored in the C: \ ProgramData \ Creadhoc \ PerfectGym \ SN.dat file on the reception computer, where the scans from the reader are to be sent.
Next:
- Enter the address of the computer with the Access Server in the following format: http://10.201.201.100:5559 where 10.201.201.100 is an example IP address of the computer.
- Check the "AccessServer CardReader Available" checkbox
It may be necessary to add exceptions to port 5559 in a system firewall or antivirus program.
Gat net writer 7000 card reader
Before configuring the device in POSweb, it is required to install the GAT software (GAT Direct Connect). You can download it here: GAT Direct Connect. You have to be a registered and logged in user or you can contact the Perfect Gym Support Team to receive a file.
Install the software with the "Complete" option. In the event of any problems with the reader after its configuration in POSweb, make sure that the GAT Direct Connect service (Windows services) works.
Below are only those settings in PosWeb that need customization:
- On POSweb, select "Gat net writer 7000 card reader".
- Type correct IP and port for Direct Connect service with format {ipaddress:port}
- Silent mode - check if you want to turn off the sound of the reader.
- Add device "Net writer IP" address - if the port has not been edited from the GAT Config Manager application, there is no need to change it.
- If your cards are encoded in hexadecimal reversal turn on "Card number is encoded reversal" - - our readers read the number in reverse order (from the end to the beginning). Checking this option reversed the number so that it was forwarded in the right way Is Relaxx present - if you use the Gantner online locker system, check this option. Relaxx Ip Address - if you use the Gantner online locker system, you need to complete the IP address of the computer (server) where the GAT Relaxx locker control service works.
- In case of using Relaxx locker system select "Is Relaxx present" and add Relaxx ip and port - it is the port on which the GAT Relaxx service communicates, by default 8207.
